This white Yemeni honey is distinguished for its outstanding medicinal value as the bees collect it from more than 70 types of scarce wild mountain flowers and grasses that blossom in winter. Some of these flowers and grasses are grow for a limited which may not exceed 24 days at the peaks of high mountain in the western regions of Yemen at a height of more than 3500 meters above sea level where the environment and soil are clean and pollution free. The value of this honey is derived from the nature of the scarce flowers and grasses on which the bees feed on, which are known for their effective healing properties against many diseases.
